Sweet Baby Jesus! I wanted to cry. This place was such a wonderful surprise!! My husband ordered the seared scallops off the menu but I went with the Crab Stuffed Mahi dinner special and they were both SCRUMPTIOUS dishes! The dinner special came topped with 3 shrimp and a champagne cherry tomato cream sauce, served with sweet corn risotto and broccoli as the two sides. The scallops also came with the risotto and asparagus. The portions were plentiful and plated so beautifully. We also had the tiramisu for dessert and it was truly the perfect ending to our fabulous dinner. I love that they have different specials every day for brunch/lunch and dinner. The atmosphere was cozy and nicely lit for a romantic date night. I saw larger parties and also couples all enjoying a really nice night. Even two ladies having girls night over a bottle of wine! We will definitely come back again!

Ate lunch here for the first time. We ordered specials from the chalkboard and were very pleased. The soup was so hearty and delicious. Entrees were flavorful and the portions are reasonable. The chocolate pie was really good too. The only negative is that the parking lot is small and fills quickly.

Main Street Bistro is an amazing restaurant with a staff that will make you feel like family each visit. The food is exquisite and compares with almost any restaurant in the Houston area, including those in the inner loop.

Fresh ingredients, fresh menu, different specials all at a decent price. I know myself and my other half will be back. For sure! Great service as well.

This place is good. When i see the place i did not think much of it. But this is definitely a hidden gem. Manu is too large. I recommend to shrink it. We got the fried tomatoes and a squash soup. Very good.

I've come here, a few times, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is always friendly and attentive. The food is fresh and delicious, with a unique twist. It's a small, intimate place, very suitable for couples. I would definitely recommend!

Come here often with my family and the service is always great. Decent wine and beer selection - glad they carry Ballast Point! We have had just about everything on the menu, so we look forward to their specials now. Last night I had the lamb lollipops, and they were perfectly cooked and tasty! Their fried asparagus with lump crab meat is rich and buttery - yum!Update: They have now fixed their a/c and it's so much better! Also tried the chicken tortilla soup - which was great.

It was darn good. I wish it had a little more salt, and a little more lemon in the hollandaise. But it was damn good.

Great food! Wonderful hole in the wall with great dishes. Parking is a bit rough but the city park a few steps away helps for a sneaky place to park.

This was a great little bistro and the food was really spectacular. The service was good and the location is too. The chicken tortilla soup was nicely seasoned and very flavorful. The burger I ordered was one of the best I've had. The fries and onion rings presentation were cool and they tasted really good. Everyone who ate with us finished their food and were all happy. Price was great for what we recieved and the decor was very homey and comfortable.

I love eggs benedict

I looked at yelp reviews and was expecting so much more. I ordered the eggs Benedict and the ingredients didn't seem fresh or seasoned well. It was all just bland really. My husband ordered the eggs sandwich and pancakes. The pancakes were really good but the sandwich he said was undercooked (eggs). It just didn't seem that good of a place besides the pancakes. The servers were nice though.It gets very loud in there. Just a warning.

We went New Years day. They were busy but still accommodating. We got our order in and our food was good. One issue was there was a group of six that were still partying New Years. There is no way to stop the loud noise. Parking is also limited.

Love this little gem! The restaurant itself is small, so I prefer to come outside the typical lunch rush to make sure I get a seat. The food is simply amazing! The value for your money, the intimate cozy dining room right down to the presentation. The staff is friendly and the service is outstanding. Ive never had antything less than an out standing meal here. Everything is made fresh daily. Mahi, Salmon, Scallops, Chicken, Burgers and deserts.

Always a wait. Very trendy eatery. A few really good dishes. Try the shrimp and grits they are very rich in flavor. The portion in also large enough for 2 servings. Order it along with their house bread. It's a great combination truly. Also unmatched, is their green fried tomatoes with jumbo lump crab. The bohemian sandwich is also a delight.

This place was such a hidden Gem. My lovely friend and I had an errand to run and decided to have lunch. She surprised me with Main St Bistro! Soon as we walk in we were greeted and they helped us to our table. Liz was our amazing waitress and she was phenomenal! I would go back just for her alone though. She not only had good table side etiquette but was very Knowledgable of the menu and helped me decide on their artichoke dip and street tacos. Artichoke deep was very cream and had that bold cheese taste. The tacos were delicious, meat was juicy with flavorful taste in every bite. The atmosphere was so homely and of course Liz really made us feel important, so she was just a breath of fresh air! I will definitely be coming back to eat here!

We always enjoy the food here. They have the gold standard on shrimp and grits upon which we judge all other restaurants. The burgers are also very good.

I just had the BEST lunch special with halibut, saffron risotto, fish and chips, salad. I can't rave enough about the flavor! Kudos to the chef and staff. Service was excellent!

The first time the mister and I went, we started off with the stuffed mushroom appetizer, which is stuffed with sausage. It was really quite good! For our entrees, he had the Napa Burger and I ordered the 5 oz Filet Mignon. Generally, whatever I order tends to be the better tasting of the two entrees, but this was not the case here. While my filet was good, it really had no seasoning to speak of. The Napa burger, however, was incredibly tasty, largely in part to the Boursin cheese they put on it and the rosemary mustard.So when I went back, I ordered the Napa burger and was not disappointed! It's a clear winner here. While I'd like to come here and try other things, I really don't see that happening since this burger is so melt-in-your-mouth tasty! A great spot to hit for dinner in the heart of League City!

Great food for good price and great service

Food was delicious. Lots of creativity and some interesting specials. Get the cheese grits for sure. Get there early. There are not many tables and the line starts forming around 9:30a.

I love this place! Have most of my business/working lunches here because it isn't loud or super crowded and the food is always top notch. They have a regular menu with great salads and apps etc. and they have daily specials which are always changing fun and always delicious. I usually go for lunch but dinner is great too. This place is a hidden gem, you won't go wrong.

Great atmosphere, amazing service, incredible food. What's not to like. Twice a day there are three new specials crafted out of current meat/produce. Always something innovative and new to try.Highly recommended.

The spicy chicken salad was great, the chicken sandwich was great, but the chicken fried ribeye and gravy was very bland. Service was great.
